This week, a hint of spring has been in the air. The sun came out to warm our hearts and make us leap for joy. But unfortunately, the early seasonal visitor didn’t stay for long. On Thursday – which is usually my shooting day, lucky me – it turned cold again. Right now I’m looking out of the office window and see big and heavy snowflakes falling. So please, spring, come back, so I can wear my cute shorts again soon 😉
I wrote no blogpost last week because I was so busy planning and organising out streetstyle photo workshop. Together with Nikolina and Julia we posed for 5 extraordinary fashion photography projects. I’m so looking forward to getting the final photos and see the results.
The bow outfit
This is my first submission to a new blog carnival, called by Ramona from Stylegart. Ramona is a big fan of the TV show Shopping Queen, which I’m a afraid, I bashed a little last year 😉 But nevertheless, I used to like the TV series and especially the comments by star designer Guido Maria Kretschmer. So Ramona will host a monthly contest together with other fashion and lifestyle bloggers. We take one of Shopping Queen’s show themes and create our own looks for it. In January, we chose to present our favourite looks featuring bows.
My look contains 4 bows all together plus one knot as a necklace. When creating the look it was the same as with the hoodie outfit. I used to wear a lot of bows when I was younger (like 16-18 years old) and now I don’t know how I should combine them, so they fit my style. That’s why I tricked myself and went for a maritime look with some “coverted” bows. I gave my best and I hope you like it anyway 🙂
Hat & Necklace – H&M
Hairband – Chanel
Knitted asymetric sweater – Tezenis
Coat & Shorts – Zara
Slippers – Deichmann
The pictures have been taken by Jubin at Karlsplatz in Vienna. As stated before on a very cold day.
How would you style bows? You can have a look at the 3 other styles by Ramona, Natascha and Melissa on Stylegart. I’d appreciate if you voted for me on the bottom of the mottostyles post 🙂
